This is a remote position.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM EST (1-hour unpaid break)
Total Weekly Hours: 40 hours

Responsibilities

  • Listen in on patient–provider consultations via Zoom or EMR-integrated platforms

  • Record and update medical notes, diagnoses, and treatment plans in Practice Fusion

  • Maintain accurate and organized patient charts and follow-up documentation

  • Assist with back-office tasks: file organization, lab result uploads, document routing, etc.

  • Coordinate with nurses or physicians to clarify documentation as needed

  • Ensure full compliance with HIPAA privacy and data handling standards

  • Provide additional clerical support as needed within the nursing home environment

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in medical scribing, transcription, or clinical documentation

  • Experience in nursing home or long-term care settings (preferred)

  • Familiarity with Practice Fusion or other EMR/EHR systems

  • Excellent English listening, writing, and communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail and solid knowledge of medical terminology

  • Stable internet connection and ability to work U.S. business hours

  • Healthcare/medical background required
