Job Purpose

The main task of this position is to manage the distribution network and the profitability of the assigned distributor

in the territory. They are responsible for ensuring the fulfillment of the roles and responsibilities of their distributors

as regards Volume, Distribution, Merchandising, Pricing and Coverage (VDMPC).

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Training of Distributors, Operations Manager, Distributor Sales Supervisors and DSP on the following:

(a)Products & Services

(b) Trade Coverage and Basic Call Procedure (BCP)

(c) Selling Skills

(d) Negotiation and communication Skills

(e) Recruitment of DSP

  1. Account management and compliance to the following:

(a) operational requirements,

a) Distribution standards (Availability)

b) Merchandising

c) Pricing

d) Coverage

e) Planogram

f) Right product Mix Distribution

(b)KRAs

(c)Business Processes

(d) and to the MOA

  1. Initiate and implement projects and sales programs that would increase sales volume, availability and

product awareness.

  1. Cascade of sales & marketing programs, company direction, strategies and action plans.

  2. Conduct Business Review with the distributor.

  3. Conducts and submits field report evaluation and validation.

  4. Maintains a database of sub dealers and retailers.

  5. Submits accurate weekly distributor shipment projections.

  6. Maintains ideal distributor floor stocks inventory level.

  7. Helps distributor manage product freshness and maintain agreed BO limit.

  8. Reports/Feedbacks competition trade activities.

  9. Optimize field-activated sales budget to deliver significant incremental volume.

  10. Submit post-activity report and analysis of trade programs.

  11. Aligns program with distributors to eliminate/minimize spoilage of products in storage and in the trade.

  12. Commitment and compliance in the food safety and quality policy of Foodcrafters Inc.

  13. Perform other duties as may be assigned by immediate superior.

Qualifications:

 Graduate of any four year course, preferably Business course

 Minimum of 3 years experience in sales preferably FMCG, Processed Meat (Frozen)

 With sales experience in handling distributors (Corporate/wholesale/trading)

 With Sales Training

 Strong Selling skills

 Excellent personality and interpersonal skills

 Ability to provide superb customer service and independently resolve problems under the company's guidelines

 Computer Proficient (MS Office applications)

 Self-motivated

 Attentive to details

 Results oriented

 Works well under pressure

 Well groomed, with good manners/Presentable

 Driving skills
