Job Specifications
- Minimum Educational Qualification
- At least a graduate of any four-year course, preferably a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration major in Marketing and/or other related field
- Experience
- At least 1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles
Basic Functions
- Responsible for generating and qualifying leads, developing new business opportunities, and supporting the sales team in achieving volume & revenue targets.
- Focuses on building strong client relationships, identifying market opportunities, and executing sales strategies to grow the company's customer base.
- Responsible for ensuring awareness, complying with, and enforcing the GMC Food Safety and Quality Policy.
- Compliance with Occupational Safety and Health policy, report any unsafe act/conditions in the workplace and ensures safety practices is adhered.
Duties And Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Identify potential customers through research, cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Maintain and update the sales pipeline database with accurate prospect information.
- Qualify leads based on defined criteria before passing them to the sales team.
Client Relationship Management
- Establish and maintain strong professional relationships with new and existing clients.
- Understand client needs and recommend appropriate products or services.
- Provide timely responses to client inquiries and follow-ups.
Sales Execution
- Assist in preparing proposals, quotations, and presentations for potential clients.
- Participate in sales meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.
- Support in negotiating terms and closing deals in coordination with the Sales Manager.
Market Research & Analysis
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.
- Provide feedback to the sales and marketing team for continuous improvement.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales activity reports. Track performance against sales targets and KPls.
