Role Summary

The Partner Development Lead will own CoDev's relationship with AWS and GCP,

driving our journey through the AWS Partner Network (APN) and Google Cloud Partner

Advantage program. This role combines program management, partner enablement,

and go-to-market execution to establish CoDev as an Advanced Tier AWS Partner and

equivalent level with GCP. The person will align CoDev's delivery, sales, and marketing

teams with AWS/GCP partner programs, secure certifications, build customer case

studies, and unlock co-selling opportunities with cloud hyperscalers.

Key Responsibilities

Partnership Growth

  • Develop and execute a 6-12–24 month roadmap to achieve AWS Advanced Tier (certifications, case studies, Service Delivery or Competency programs).
  • Lead CoDev's enrollment and participation in AWS Partner Network (APN) and Google Cloud Partner Advantage.
  • Act as primary liaison with AWS/GCP Partner Development Managers, ensuring CoDev is aligned with their strategic priorities.
  • Manage and grow CoDev's presence in AWS Marketplace and Google Cloud Marketplace.

Certification and Enablement

  • Drive internal certification goals (AWS Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, AI/ML Specialty, etc.) to meet tier requirements.
  • Coordinate enablement programs (AWS Partner Training, Google Cloud Sales/Technical tracks).
  • Establish internal reporting dashboards for certification status, partner KPIs, and pipeline attribution.

Customer Success and References

  • Collect and publish customer case studies on AWS/GCP projects to support Competency applications.
  • Build the process for Partner of Record (PoR) tracking with AWS/GCP customers to demonstrate influenced revenue.

Go-to-Market Execution

  • Co-develop joint go-to-market campaigns with AWS and GCP marketing teams.
  • Secure funding (Market Development Funds, Proof-of-Concept credits, Migration Acceleration Program) from AWS/GCP.
  • Train CoDev's sales team to articulate AWS/GCP-aligned value propositions (e.g., migration, AI/ML, DevOps).
  • Participate in AWS Summits, Google Next, and partner events to raise brand visibility.

Governance and Reporting

  • Own the partnership scorecard: certifications, revenue influence, case studies, partner designations.
  • Provide quarterly partnership updates to CoDev leadership, including ROI analysis of AWS/GCP programs.
  • Benchmark CoDev against peer outsourcing vendors in AWS/GCP partner ecosystems.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in partnerships, alliances, or business development in IT services or software delivery.
  • Demonstrated experience building or managing a cloud hyperscaler partnership (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Strong understanding of AWS/GCP Partner Network structures, Competencies, Service Delivery programs.
  • Familiarity with outsourcing/staff augmentation business models and how to align them with cloud vendor programs.
  • Proven track record of achieving certification goals, co-selling programs, or Competency validations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management: able to navigate between AWS/GCP field teams, CoDev sales/delivery, and client leadership.
