Job Description

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology or any accounting-related course
  • At least five (5) years' experience in an accounting position, with extensive experience in bookkeeping, closing process, financial statement and disclosures preparation, tax compliance, and preparation of management reports.
  • Prior work experience with a service-oriented company is preferable.
  • Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Demonstrates good command of English, both oral and written
  • Able to handle transactions involving multiple entities or companies
  • Able to work and deliver timely output with minimal supervision
  • Attentive to detail, analytical, objectives-driven, good interpersonal skills

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintenance of accounting records
  • Bank and account reconciliation
  • Financial statement closing process
  • Financial reports and analysis
  • Tax compliance and reporting with regulatory bodies (e.g. BIR, SEC, local government)
  • Support for budget and other planning activities
  • Coordination with other functions for routine deliverables and/or special projects
  • Improvements to policies and procedures within or related to the function
