A General Accountant is responsible for performing general accounting functions such as accounts payable/receivable, preparing bank reconciliations and applying accounting principles and procedures to ensure the accurate recording of financial Information; maintains and controls the General Ledger accounts and business transactions of the Company, applying the Accounting Principles that includes analytical work and thorough review of financial records.

  • Day-to-day, monthly, and year-end operations of the Accounting Department which involves preparation and analysis of financial statements.
  • Provide high level accounting and financial management services, review and processing of transactions and reconciliations in Accordance with Accounting Standards.
  • Perform the processing and recording of accounts payable transactions and ensure that all invoices and reimbursements are paid accurately and in accordance with Finance policies and procedures.
  • Perform general accounts analysis and reconciliations, including bank statements, accruals and prepaid expenses.
  • Perform the processing of expense allocations, monthly accruals, amortization of prepaid expenses and recording of adjusting and reclassification journal entries, if necessary.
  • Perform the processing of BIR tax compliances

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Educational Attainment: Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy is a must, preferably CPA

Relevant Experience:

  • At least 2-3 years relevant work experience in General Accounting.

Functional/Technical Skills:

  • Accurate, comfortable with numbers and organized.
  • Amazing attention to detail, and proven track record of meeting deadlines.
  • Able to prioritize, work autonomously and manage time effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, including being adaptable to work with a variety of personalities.
  • Demonstrates Professional Integrity.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php40, Php50,000.00 per month
