The Sales Administrator / Coordinator provides administrative support to the sales team and assists in the smooth operation of the sales department. This role involves managing sales orders, processing customer inquiries, maintaining sales records, and ensuring effective communication within the sales team and with other departments.

  • Process and manage sales orders, ensuring accuracy and timely entry into the system.
  • Coordinate order fulfillment with the logistics and warehouse teams.
  • Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, or in-person, providing product information, order status, and resolving issues.
  • Assist the sales team with preparing sales presentations, proposals, and contracts.
  • Maintain and update the sales database, ensuring all customer information and sales data are accurate and current.
  • Generate sales reports, performance metrics, and forecasts as needed.
  • Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, scanning, and maintaining office supplies.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of sales processes and procedures.
  • Ensure all sales documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Prepare and submit sales reports and other required documentation for management review.
  • Serve as a liaison between the sales team, customers, and other departments.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across teams to support sales goals.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Sales Administrator, Sales Coordinator, or similar role.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
