POSITION OVERVIEW

Vega Energy Services is seeking a Registered Mechanical Engineer to join our team in creating sustainable energy solutions and cutting-edge energy efficiency projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand and implement electrical and mechanical designs from technical drawings
  • Interact with contractors using clear verbal and written communication
  • Prepare presentation materials for customers, contractors, partners, and co-workers
  • Create comprehensive project documentation and cost estimates
  • Inspect mechanical components and supervise technicians and contractors
  • Attend project meetings and coordinate with stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

  • Registered Mechanical Engineer (Licensed Professional)
  • Graduate of BS Mechanical Engineering
  • 1-2 years experience in industrial settings including maintenance, facility engineering, shift work, or equipment operation
  • Familiarity with industrial plant equipment: HVAC, Boilers, Compressed Air, Refrigeration, Pumps and Motors, and power plant engineering
  • Safety training certification (BOSH or COSH is advantageous)

Ideal for: Newly licensed mechanical engineers or those with experience in energy efficiency analysis, HVAC systems, building automation, or renewable energy systems.
