JOB SUMMARY:

  • Ensure optimal operation of production machinery and plant facilities through preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
  • Assist Engineers to conduct root cause analysis (RCA) on mechanical failures and implement long-term Corrective solutions.
  • Execute maintenance activities to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability.
  • Maintain detailed records of machine performance, downtime, and maintenance history for trend analysis and continuous improvement.
  • Participate/Lead in calibration, alignment, and lubrication programs to extend machinery lifespan.
  • Participate/Lead in installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment and ensure compliance with standards.
  • Monitor spare parts management, ensuring availability of critical components and minimizing stock variances.
  • Lead safety inspections, risk assessments, and enforce adherence to occupational health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and procurement teams for process improvements and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Train and mentor junior technicians on proper maintenance practices and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Participate in plant optimization projects to increase efficiency and production output.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Certified Plant Mechanic (TESDA NC III or higher) or equivalent qualification.
  • Background in mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, and rotating equipment.
  • Proficient in using advanced diagnostic tools, vibration analysis, and condition monitoring systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting and repairing heavy industrial machinery in manufacturing or plant operations.
  • Knowledgeable in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and inventory management software.
  • Strong foundation in safety management systems.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical manuals, and schematics.
  • Effective leadership, communication, and coordination skills for supervising maintenance teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with focus on minimizing downtime and maximizing equipment availability.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment with shifting priorities.
