About the role

JRBUILDERS COMPANY INC. is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Taguig City, Metro Manila. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems and components for our construction projects. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting and challenging projects.

What you'll be doing

  • Designing and developing mechanical systems and components, including HVAC, plumbing, and other building services
  • Conducting research, feasibility studies, and technical analyses to optimise the performance and efficiency of mechanical systems
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including architects, civil engineers, and construction managers, to ensure the successful delivery of projects
  • Overseeing the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems to ensure they meet quality and safety standards
  • Providing technical support and troubleshooting for ongoing maintenance and operations
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations to continually improve our practices

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, building codes, and industry standards
  • Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and other engineering tools
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
