About the role

Polystar General Services Inc.' is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and maintenance of our mechanical systems and equipment. This is a full-time position based in Taguig City, Metro Manila.

What you'll be doing

  • Designing, developing, and optimising mechanical systems and components to meet project requirements and specifications
  • Conducting thorough analysis, testing, and evaluation of mechanical designs to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including project managers, electrical engineers, and technicians, to coordinate the implementation of mechanical solutions
  • Performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and problem-solving to ensure the optimal performance of mechanical systems
  • Preparing detailed reports, technical documentation, and presentations to communicate project progress and findings
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends, advancements, and best practices in mechanical engineering

What we're looking for

  • A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • relevant experience in the design and development of mechanical systems
  • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, including thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and materials science
  • Proficiency in using computer-aided design (CAD) software and other engineering tools
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work with cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols
