Job Description
 
Duties & Responsibilities


• Ensure strategic alignment of the training cluster with business goals.


• Manage day-to-day training operations.


• Identify training needs by consulting with stakeholders and using needs assessments.


• Evaluate individual and organizational performance to ensure training meets business needs and improves performance.


• Monitor and evaluate both structured and informal methods (e.g. coaching, classroom training, online training, LMS, OJT / Mentoring) and make continuous improvements in approach and process as appropriate.


• Hire and manage training and L&D specialists.


• Create and design e-learning courses, workshops, and other training programs.


• Lead and support the implementation of the Training Plan to ensure smooth execution and effective outcomes.


• Refine existing systems and processes, set up new processes as required, including preparing and tracking the annual Training Budget and negotiating contracts.


• Create and update the Training Calendar, track attendance, and capture feedback on training programs, conferences, and workshops.


• Optimize training processes for efficiency.


• Lead and manage the implementation of technologies and technical personnel required to develop, manage, and deliver training.


• Support managers in developing their team members through career path interventions.


• Co-create and conduct Leadership Development initiatives including design and development.


• Partner with Operations and HR in driving OD interventions.


• Assess the success of development plans and help employees make the most of learning opportunities.


• Monitor the learning and development department's performance.


• Collaborate with other training teams across geographies for best practice sharing and standardization of training methodologies and operating models.

General Safety and Security

Protect organizational assets by upholding the principles of Quality Information Security Management System (QISMS).

Ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information critical to fulfilling business functions.

Competency Requirements


• Bachelor's Degree as a minimum requirement.


• Excellent written and oral communication skills.


• Strong leadership and large team management experience with a diversified portfolio.


• 12+ years in Training, Talent Development, or Learning and Development, preferably in US Healthcare.


• Experience in BPO, voice, or related service industries.


• Advanced working knowledge of MS Office suite.


• Working understanding of transformation tools in Training.


• Open to working on a graveyard schedule and willing to travel.

Technical Skills


• Knowledge and mastery of training for supported business areas.


• Knowledge of learning and development methodologies and best practices.


• Knowledge of instructional design and content development.


• Proven track record in managing large training or L&D organizations (Healthcare or Insurance BPO experience preferred).


• Ability to handle training requirements for a multi-account setup.
