Job Description
As an Accounting Officer, you will:

  • Prepare timely and accurate financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow).
  • Analyse financial data to support strategic decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Support monthly closing activities and reconcile ledgers.
  • Participate in system implementations and UAT testing.
  • Provide documentation for external audits.
  • Contribute to process improvements and financial operations including treasury and cash flow management.

The Successful Applicant
A Successful Accounting Officer Should Have

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting and compliance standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work under deadlines.
  • A professional certification such as CPA.
