Payroll Associate

JOB SUMMARY:
The Payroll Associate will be responsible for the maintenance of employee information in the Human Resource Information System of the Company. They will primarily be responsible for monitoring and auditing timesheets and other payroll inputs to ensure accurate and timely payroll calculation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Enroll new employees and disenroll offboarding employees to the HRIS
- Maintaining employee information in the HRIS database
- Monitor timesheets and audit for discrepancies
- Assisting payroll process based on timesheet data and other benefits
- Track employee loans and administer schedule of payment as agreed upon
- Prepare timesheet reports and other HRIS reports as requested by HR or Management
- Process monthly contributions and loan deductions to respective government agencies
- Address employee inquiries and resolve any payroll-related issues, such as paycheck discrepancies and tax withholdings
- Preparing documents in relation to labor and tax compliance
- Safeguard payroll records and procedures to ensure confidentiality
- Perform and lead ad-hoc tasks as needed.
- Drive Process Improvements
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources,
accounting, finance, or a related field - 1-2 years of relevant work experience
- Strong understanding of wage calculations, deductions, benefits, and taxation
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and other office productivity tools
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Solid understanding of general accounting principles
- Can work on-site, 5 days/week
