Accounting Associate is responsible for preparing and reviewing financial documents, maintaining accurate account records, processing transactions, and analyzing accounting data. He/she also supports the Finance Officers, Team Leaders, and other departments by providing guidance on accounting procedures and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of relevant work experience in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
  • Experience in E-Commerce or Logistics is an advantage.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and relevant accounting software.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial statements, reports, and accounting records.
  • Process requisitions, vouchers, and other accounting documents; verify account balances and approve transactions as necessary.
  • Provide support and guidance to other departments regarding accounting and fiscal procedures.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, issue invoices, and process payments.
  • Reconcile discrepancies and coordinate with internal departments to ensure accuracy of financial records.
  • Analyze accounting data and assist in audits, financial reviews, and tax compliance.
  • Update and maintain accounting spreadsheets, ledgers, and financial databases.
  • Review existing accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and government regulations.
  • Provide support in payroll processing and related financial activities.
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records and processes.
