Position Title: Local Store Marketing (LSM) Officer
Department: Marketing
Reports to: Brand and Marketing Manager / Head of Marketing
Location: Bo's Coffee Headquarters (Field Work Required)
Position Overview
At Bo's Coffee, we believe that every community has a story — and every store should be part of that story. The Local Store Marketing (LSM) Officer is the bridge between our brand's national presence and each store's local heart. You will be in charge of creating customized marketing plans that drive foot traffic, increase brand visibility, and deepen community connections.
Put simply: you make sure each store feels like it's home for its neighborhood.
Key Responsibilities
Store-Level Marketing Strategy:
- Develop tailored marketing plans for new and existing Bo's Coffee branches based on local demographics, competition, and cultural opportunities.
- Recommend and execute localized promotional activities, sponsorships, partnerships, and community events.
Event Coordination:
- Organize and oversee store events such as grand openings, anniversaries, product launches, and local festivals.
- Coordinate with store managers and area heads to ensure smooth event execution.
Community Engagement:
- Build strong relationships with local communities, organizations, and partners to increase brand visibility and goodwill.
- Identify opportunities for Bo's Coffee to participate in local initiatives (e.g., school events, fairs, local charities).
Sales-Driving Initiatives:
- Launch in-store activations and tactical promotions to support monthly sales targets and customer engagement goals.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of LSM activities through foot traffic analysis, customer feedback, and sales uplift.
Creative Collaboration:
- Work closely with the brand and creative teams to adapt national campaigns for local relevance without losing brand consistency.
- Provide input on promotional materials needed at the store level.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Maintain regular reports on LSM activities, budgets, and results.
- Provide recommendations for future improvements based on data and learnings.
Educational Background & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- 2+ years experience in marketing, events coordination, or retail marketing (F&B industry experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of local marketing dynamics and community engagement strategies.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously — like spinning saucers, but more caffeinated.
- Willingness to travel and work in the field (this role is not for those who prefer staying behind a desk)
- Creative, resourceful, and passionate about storytelling and building relationships.
- Familiarity with basic digital marketing is a plus.
