Job Role:

The Local Store Marketing Specialist is responsible for conceptualizing, implementing, monitoring and analyzing tactical promotional projects in support of the overall marketing campaigns. He/She is also responsible for providing marketing support for retail store operations by planning and organizing promotional activities and maintaining store merchandising materials.

Duties and Responsibilities:

 Manages the local-store marketing and work together with Operations to evaluate and provide recommendations for store-level marketing activities. The recommendations for activities are done with ample information of the trade area and possible channels to develop.

 Conceptualizes marketing plans and programs, and enhances existing programs, by studying the trade area, sales trending and the needs of the store to find effective ways of improving sales for a particular segment.

 Ensures stores' implementation of marketing projects and their adherence to standard procedures by conducting store visit and marketing review.

 Coordinates with other sections the successful implementation of system wide/area activities through accurate gathering, recording and tallying of needed information and through monitoring and updates with other sections.

 Makes recommendations on certain areas concerning Local Store Marketing (LSM), such as on activities and sponsorship evaluation, involvement /participation in awareness campaign projects and promotions.

 Coordinates with Mall admin and other partners for LSM needs as required.

 New Store Opening – Evaluates, recommends and executes the graphic designs / visuals and copy/text for board up, signage, murals, in store/mall/trade area/social media communication & promotions and coordinates with concerned departments.

 Post evaluation reports – Evaluates, reviews and writes the post evaluation report will the activities done with the stores; New Store Opening, Local Store Marketing activities, Sponsorships and other activities.

 Monitors competitors' products by gathering information on activities and development, shares with concerned department head/s of competitors' activities and provide, recommend of coordinate on appropriate action.

Qualifications:

  • Proven working experience in local store marketing preferably in Food industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field
  • Demonstrates ability to analyze market data and research and develop plans that leverage key findings and opportunities
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in marketing
  • Clearly communicate verbally and in writing to all levels of both internal and external personnel
  • Deliver solutions that are creative and practical
