Job description:

The Maintenance Officer is responsible for ensuring the proper functioning, safety, and upkeep of the facility's buildings, equipment, and systems. This includes performing routine maintenance tasks, responding to repair requests, conducting inspections, and assisting with installations and renovations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular inspections of facilities to identify and resolve issues.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance on mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.).
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and repair needs.
  • Oversee the upkeep of grounds and external facilities.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and records.
  • Assist in coordinating work with external contractors and vendors when needed.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor and manage maintenance supplies and inventory.
  • Assist in setting up equipment or furniture for events or room changes.
  • Report major maintenance needs and safety hazards to supervisors.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in a relevant trade is preferred.
  • Proven experience in maintenance, facilities management, or a similar role.
  • Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items or work in awkward spaces.
  • Understanding of health and safety practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php30, Php50,000.00 per month
