Key Responsibilities:

  • Gain very good understanding of the POS System and the ERP of the company by attending the training conducted by the incumbent Applications Support employees.
  • As trained, gain mastery of the underlying computer environment to run the POS System and the ERP of the company.
  • Collaborate with the software engineers and technology partners to be able to conduct hands-on work to sustain effective system uptime.
  • Collaboration and effective escalation of issues to Subject Matter Experts/vendors/technology partners for L2/L3 support
  • Monitor the applications and proactively assist user support on system errors.
  • Collaborate with all stakeholders from the different departments, and with direction from the IT Systems Manager, Associate IT Director to resolve issues.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • At least 1 year application support experience on any POS system and in the retail sales industry
  • At least 1 year application support experience on any ERP
  • Has at least 1 year work experience rolling out systems in selling outlets/stores
  • Can quickly learn business processes as trained
  • Can assist users in Head Office and in the Stores on system use and aid in the speedy isolation of issues by partnering with the in-house Technical Support Team, mall POS team, and other Subject Matter Experts/outsourced service providers, and stakeholders
  • Has good understanding of structured databases e.g. MS SQL
  • Can do basic interactive MS SQL commands
  • Can use any remote desktop management tool to aid users in the Stores
  • Can collaborate with Learning and Development Team to implement new user applications and software productivity tools.
  • Understands basic Project Management methodology
  • Any Cloud exposure will be an advantage
  • Proficient in MS 365
