RESPONSIBILITIES:

Guest Service

  • Greet guests warmly and assist them to their tables if necessary
  • Present menus, explain daily specials, and answer questions about
  • food and beverage items
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system
  • Serve orders promptly and in accordance with service standards
  • Monitor guest satisfaction, anticipate additional needs, and provide recommendations when appropriate escalating issues to supervisors when necessary dining

Food & Beverage Knowledge

  • Handle guest complaints or requests politely and efficiently,
  • Provide guests with checks, process payments, and thank them for
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the menu, including ingredients,
  • allergens, preparation methods, and presentation.
  • Upsell and suggest add-ons (appetizers, sides, desserts, beverages, and promotions).
  • Understand pairing suggestions (wine, cocktails, or non-alcoholic beverages).

Operations & Standards

  • Set up, clean, and reset tables quickly and efficiently.
  • Assist in the preparation and organization of the dining area before,
  • during, and after service.
  • Follow all sanitation, hygiene, and safety guidelines.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure orders are prepared accurately and served accidents.stocked with necessary supplies.

Teamwork & Communication

  • Handle cutlery, glassware, and equipment with care to avoid damage
  • Keep service stations, side stands, and POS terminals organized and
  • Coordinate with fellow servers, kitchen, bar, and management to
  • ensure smooth service flow.
  • Attend pre-shift briefings and training sessions.
  • Share feedback from guests with management to improve service quality.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in hospitality is
  • an advantage.
  • Proven work experience as a Server, Waiter/Waitress, or in customer service.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic math skills for handling payments.
  • Knowledge of POS systems is an advantage.
  • Positive attitude, professionalism, and a strong focus on guest satisfaction.
