Job description:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Familiarizes with all the specifications of construction materials for the project.

  2. Inspect the quality of materials delivered on-site and ensure compliance to specifications.

  3. To liaise with construction team to ensure all inspection and testing requirements are fulfilled and work quality is achieved to meet the client's requirements as per the contract.

  4. Report non-conformance works or materials to Quality Assurance/Quality Control Head.

  5. Inspects/evaluates the quality of work done by the sub-contractors for billing.

  6. Coordinates materials to be used at the site for follow-up with the subcontractors and supplier.

  7. Responsible for gathering samples of materials for testing.

  8. Prepares work permits (installation, inspection, pouring request, etc.) for approval of consultant.

  9. Prepares and monitors materials (samples, catalog cuts, etc.) to be used on-site for submittal and approval of consultants and designers.

  10. To liaise with client's representative on site to ensure all inspection and testing requirements are fulfilled and complete work quality is achieved in order to meet the client's requirement as per the contract.

  11. QAQC representative in the process related to punch listing and initial handover of the works and activities to the Project Manager

  12. To ensure all records are completed and compiled for submission to the client concerning completed work quality to meet client's requirements as per the contract

  13. To assist the Quality Manager to coordinate the implementation of the BBPI Quality Management System through the implementation of the project quality plan to meet the company's internal policies and certification to international standards.

  14. To assist the Quality Manager in coordinating the implementation of the \BBPI Management System through the collation/compilation of data about the system performance to ensure continuous improvement in order to meet the company's internal policies and certification to international standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
  • At least 5 Years (Experienced Employee specialized in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.
  • Can start immediately.
