A Quality Control Inspector (in-line) is responsible for inspecting and/or testing of products before, during and after the manufacturing process to ensure that finished products align with company and legal standards. He is also responsible for inspecting overall area cleanliness and sanitation, personnel hygiene, equipment & tools condition, and consistently report noted deviations in the operation. MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Support the QC Manager and QC Supervisor to develop, implement, monitor and maintain food safety programs that comply with industry regulations, company standards, and client requirements. Maintain proper documentation (specifically good records of results) of quality control & production inspections. Maintain current food safety, quality and regulatory knowledge through ongoing trainings and educational opportunities. Monitor compliance of processes and equipment from mixing to metal detector and ensure that product is conforming to food safety and quality standards prior release, from product quality & safety to labelling requirements. Monitor compliance of CCPs against the CCP plan. Check accurateness of thermometer prior use for product testing. Conduct physico-chemical analysis (pH). Conduct basic trouble shooting of in-line issues with the assistance of QC Supervisor/ Manager or QA, if necessary. Conduct verification of cleaning and sanitation compliance of the equipment (newly purchased or newly maintained). Conduct of sensory evaluation for all finished products. Conduct of light monitoring around the production, as planned. Inspect/ evaluate returned products prior rework. Inspect/ evaluate non-conforming products prior rework. Monitor retention samples and prepare report. Monitor Product Disposition Report from warehouse, production, returns and/ or other department and prepare report. Timely data collection and presents inspection results in a clear and concise manner. Assist QA in investigations and provide related corrective actions, if necessary. Consistently report problems with regards to Food Safety Management System. MINOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Monitor area and storage temperature. Encode/Generate Product Disposition Report after production. Reports food safety deviations (actual incidents and near misses) and issues PRP violation ticket, if necessary. Give directions to food handlers about matters relating to food safety & quality. #J-18808-Ljbffr
