The Medical City Ortigas is searching for an experienced Account Associate (Credit) to join the team and help lead the organization to the next level. This role is responsible for improving the hospital collection by ensuring the settlement of patients bills through assessing the capacity to pay of incoming patients and provides support and recommendation to financially challenged ones.

This role directly reports to the Credit section of Account Management Department.

What's The Role All About?

Job responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Ensures collection of hospital bills of admitted patients
  • Monitoring and collecting current inpatient payments
  • Facilitating the partial or progress payment of admitted patients
  • Sending partial billing when outstanding amount has reached its limit.
  • Ensures payment and approval from Health Maintenance Organizations (HMO)
  • Conducts patient financial capability assessment before admission to the hospital
  • Assists and supports financially challenged patients by endorsing patient to credit specialist/section head for recommendation of promissory note when necessary.
  • Referring patients to government institutions for financial assistance or suggesting other possible payment options.

Who Are We Looking For?

An effective Customer Relations Associate must possess the following skills:

  • Customer Service:
    Conducting counselling and interview to the patients/companion.
  • Analyzing Skills:
    Evaluating authenticity of submitted documents and financial capability of patients to be admitted by the hospital
  • Punctuality:
    Providing timely and accurate issuance of Statement of Accounts

Ideally, a candidate must be a graduate of any bachelor's degree in
Business Administration, Finance, or any related course with at least 1 year experience in credit and collection.
