An associate joining the IT Support Team to provide technical assistance both onsite and
remotely for any IT-related issues faced by end users. The IT Support Specialist is
responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of general IT resources, enabling the
business to function efficiently and without interruptions.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Incident and Service Request Management
• Handles service requests and incidents related to Front and Back Office
operations, ensuring minimal disruption to business activities (e.g., workstations,
printing systems, IP phones, and IT equipment).
• Serves as the first point of escalation for IT issues from end users.
• Collaborates with other business units and teams on service requests and
incidents.
• Adheres to enterprise service management practices, including incident,
problem, and change management.
IT Support and Troubleshooting
• Provides physical and remote IT support for end users, including
hardware/software troubleshooting and workstation diagnostics.
• Conducts basic network troubleshooting and monitors system resource
utilization.
• Responds to and resolves IT alerts, ensuring system performance, availability,
and reliability.
Hardware and Software Management
• Configures, installs, and maintains hardware and software.
• Ensures proper execution of scheduled backups and system monitoring.
• Manages IT inventory, keeping it up to date.
• Coordinates with IT vendors for warranty claims and equipment maintenance.

User and System Administration
• Performs basic user administration tasks (e.g., creating, editing, deleting users,
and password resets).
• Maintains and enforces infrastructure monitoring tools, policies, and procedures
in alignment with company standards.
Infrastructure Maintenance and Projects
• Implements IT infrastructure projects as directed by management.
• Ensures the overall health of IT infrastructure.
Technology Updates and Documentation
• Stays updated on the latest technologies for workstations, servers, end-user
software, productivity tools, and remote assistance tools.
• Maintains quality technical documentation and supports IT operations.
Client Support and Reporting
• Provides additional support for clients using company assets in the office.
• Produces relevant monitoring reports.
Administrative Support
• Handles Purchase Requests related to IT equipment and resources.
• Manages work permits and gate passes for IT personnel and visitors as required
for office access and security compliance.
