Position Title: Record to Report Supervisor (FA/BR/GL SEA)

Location: Manila

Department: Finance Operations – Global Business Services

Role Overview

The Record to Report (R2R) Supervisor oversees a team handling General Ledger (GL), Fixed Assets, and Bank Reconciliation across Southeast Asia (SEA), South America (SA), North America (NAM), LATAM, and Corporate entities. The role ensures the accurate and timely delivery of financial reporting activities while maintaining strong internal controls and compliance with IFRS and local accounting standards. This leadership position is pivotal in driving operational excellence and continuous improvement in a shared services environment.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Operations & Reporting

  • Supervise end-to-end GL, fixed asset, and bank reconciliation processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.

  • Oversee month-end close activities and ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

  • Review high-risk balance sheet reconciliations and ensure timely issue resolution.

  • Support the preparation of statutory accounts, tax filings, and audit requirements (including JSOX).

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team to meet KPIs and service expectations.

  • Work closely with Country Finance Controllers and regional stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure clean financial reporting.

  • Prepare and present Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) with insights and escalations.

Process Improvement & Controls

  • Drive standardization, process documentation, and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and strengthen internal controls.

  • Lead or support IT system changes and finance transformation projects.

  • Ensure adequate staff backup plans and seamless knowledge transfer.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA or ACCA preferred.

  • 8–10 years of relevant experience, including 3 years in a leadership role within a shared service environment for MNCs.

  • Audit or logistics industry experience is a plus.

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, tax rules, and internal controls.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); SAP or similar ERP experience required.

  • Experience in data analytics is an advantage.

Soft Skills

  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proactive in identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities.
