Job Overview:

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical accounting expertise, proven analytical skills, and the ability to lead a small team while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial operations. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in financial reporting, audits, budgeting, and maintaining internal controls.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Data Management

  • Record financial transactions accurately in the accounting system.
  • Generate account balances and analyze transaction details.
  • Process payments and maintain proper filing of relevant documents.

Reporting and Compliance

  • Prepare monthly and annual financial reports for both head office and field offices.
  • Review budget vs. actual reports to ensure alignment.
  • Ensure timely submission of financial reports in compliance with donor and organizational requirements.

Budgeting and Forecasting

  • Prepare and review budgets for proposal submissions.
  • Support financial forecasting and planning activities.

Audit and Internal Controls

  • Assist in internal audits, external audits, and expenditure verifications.
  • Address audit findings and implement corrective actions.
  • Strengthen internal controls across all financial operations.

Leadership and Team Management

  • Supervise and mentor a small team of accounting staff.
  • Provide training, guidance, and performance management.
  • Promote professional development and ensure adherence to company policies.

Other Duties

  • Perform additional tasks as assigned, demonstrating flexibility to organizational needs.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA qualification preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting/audit experience.
  • Supervisory experience preferred, or readiness to assume leadership responsibilities.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
  • Cross-cultural sensitivity with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willing to work on a hybrid setup.
  • Can start immediately.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php45, Php55,000.00 per month
