PR and Events Team Lead

JOB OVERVIEW
The PR and Events Team Lead is responsible for driving brand visibility and stakeholder engagement through strategic public relations and impactful events. This role manages third-party agencies—including media, PR, influencers, and vloggers—and coordinates closely with internal stakeholders for the successful execution of internal and external events. The Team Lead also supervises a team of PR and Events Specialists (PAX and DAX) and works cross-functionally with the marketing, performance, and social media teams to ensure integrated campaign support.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Leadership and Team Management
- Lead, coach, and support the PR and Events team to meet performance targets.
- Establish clear KPIs and ensure alignment with overall marketing and business goals.
- Manage third-party agencies, ensuring high-quality execution and brand consistency.
- Foster collaboration and communication among internal and external teams.
2. Event Strategy, Planning & Execution
- Develop and manage the annual events calendar based on business and brand objectives.
- Plan and implement a range of events, including:
- Driver-partner onboarding and engagement activities
- Marketing activations and roadshows
- Community and corporate engagement events
- Oversee logistics and execution in coordination with relevant departments and partners.
3. Internal & External Coordination
- Serve as the lead point of contact for internal teams regarding all event-related needs.
- Coordinate closely with the Marketing, Social Media, and Performance teams to align campaigns and outputs.
- Ensure timely delivery of all event and PR-related assets and requirements.
4. Public Relations and Media Engagement
- Build and manage relationships with media, influencers, vloggers, and PR agencies.
- Create and distribute press releases, advisories, and media kits as needed.
- Represent the company in media interviews and public-facing events.
- Lead crisis communication efforts, ensuring consistent and strategic messaging.
5. Vendor and Agency Oversight
- Manage the selection, contracting, and performance of external agencies and vendors.
- Negotiate service terms to ensure cost-effectiveness and delivery of KPIs.
- Monitor output and quality control of all third-party deliverables.
6. Reporting and Budget Management
- Oversee PR and event budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
- Track campaign and event performance metrics.
- Provide post-event analysis, insights, and improvement recommendations to leadership.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- At least 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory or team leadership role in PR, events, or marketing.
- Proven track record managing third-party agencies and influencer partnerships.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Filipino.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
- Experience in project management, media relations, and stakeholder engagement.
- Familiarity with social media platforms, content strategies, and PR analytics.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends during event schedules.
