Contribution and aim:

The position is responsible for recruiting qualified crew according to the requirements of the Customers, in accordance with legal requirements and company policies

Key Responsibilities and role(s):


• Source for qualified applicants through assigned online media to fulfil the crew requirements of the Customers.

• Conduct initial screening according to the qualifications required by the Customers.

• Proactively provide updates regarding recruitment activities and status of requirements.

• Provide relevant information regarding recruitment industry practices, trends, and other benchmarking data to make the Company more competitive and preferred employer by seafarers.

• Provide information or feedback to the applicants on the status of their application.

• Build a strong pool of candidate for future needs.

• Verify validity of documents against requirements/checklist.

• Monitor status of proposed candidates.

Required Competencies:


• Extensive experience in seafarer recruitment

• Experience in quality assurance / quality management system

• At least a graduate of any Bachelor's Degree

• Good communication skills – written and verbal

• Proficient in the use of Office Productivity tools

• Detail-oriented

• Good negotiation skills

• Knowledge of different recruitment approaches or campaigns
