Position: F&B Purchasing Officer
Company: Palmas Del Mar Resort
Reports Directly to: Accounting Head & Corporate Treasurer
Job Description:
The F&B Purchasing Officer is responsible for the efficient procurement of all food and beverage supplies of the resort. The position ensures timely sourcing, purchasing, and coordination with suppliers while maintaining compliance with company policies and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Source, evaluate, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effective purchases.
- Request and review quotations to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
- Prepare, process, and monitor Purchase Orders (POs) for timely approval and delivery.
- Ensure all purchased items meet required quality specifications and standards.
- Maintain updated purchasing records, including supplier databases, price lists, and contracts.
- Coordinate with departments (F&B, Kitchen, Warehouse) regarding inventory needs and delivery schedules.
- Monitor stock levels and assist in cost control and budget management.
- Address supplier issues, delivery discrepancies, and quality concerns promptly.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, proper documentation, and audit requirements.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Knowledgeable in purchasing procedures, supplier evaluation, and price analysis.
- Competent in PO preparation, quotation requests, and vendor coordination.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and/or procurement software.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and manage multiple suppliers.

- Honest and capable of handling confidential information.
- Demonstrates initiative and sound judgment in supplier dealings.
- Able to work independently and under pressure.
Other Requirements:
- Willing to work on-site and flexible with work schedule when needed.
- Must possess good moral character and strong interpersonal skills.
Qualifications:
Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or any related field.
Work Experience:
- At least 1–2 years of relevant experience in purchasing, procurement, or inventory management.
- Experience in the hospitality or manufacturing sector is an advantage.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php15, Php18,000.00 per month
