Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and manage Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for aluminium fabrication and architectural construction projects.
  • Perform detailed quantity take-offs and measurement from construction drawings using Cubit Buildsoft.
  • Develop and maintain a vendor/product database within Cubit to link items, unit rates, and supplier information for faster estimating and PO generation.
  • Provide accurate cost estimates, cost breakdowns, and tender support for multiple projects.
  • Coordinate daily with the Australian Estimator and drafting team via email, chat, and video conferencing.
  • Assist with tender documentation, comparison reports, and material schedules.
  • Track drawing revisions and quantity changes to ensure estimate accuracy.
  • Maintain organised digital records and version control for all BOQs and Cubit project files.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in estimating or quantity surveying, ideally in aluminium or façade construction.
  • Extensive, proven experience with Cubit Buildsoft software (non- negotiable)
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings accurately.
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).
  • High level of self-motivation, reliability, and attention to detail when working remotely.
  • Experience in commercial or architectural fit-out projects is highly regarded.
