Job Description:

The Area Project Manager is responsible for overseeing fiber optic projects within an assigned area. The role ensures that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. This includes coordinating with clients, contractors, and internal teams to deliver successful project results.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage multiple fiber network projects in the assigned area.
  • Supervise site activities such as cable laying, splicing, testing, and installation.
  • Monitor project progress, schedules, budgets, and manpower.
  • Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors for project updates.
  • Ensure safety, quality, and compliance with company and industry standards.
  • Prepare and submit project reports and documentation.
  • Solve on-site issues and make sure projects meet deadlines.
  • Lead and guide field teams to achieve project targets.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: At least 3–5 years in project management, preferably in fiber optic or telecom projects.
  • Skills:
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Good planning, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge in fiber optic installation, outside plant (OSP) works, and testing.
  • Proficient in MS Office and project tracking tools.
  • Others:
  • Can handle multiple projects in different locations.
  • Willing to travel or be assigned in various project sites.
  • PMP or related certification is an advantage.
