Your Role:
As a Fleet Management Specialist, You Will

  • Manage the trade-in process to support the business in increasing used car purchases with greater financial returns.
  • Handle disbursement of trade-in purchases via the accounts payable process.
  • Oversee stock control and management of traded vehicles.
  • Maintain and update trade-in reporting suites.
  • Liaise with finance companies for vehicle payouts and security releases.
  • Coordinate with dealers for transport logistics and inspection reports.
  • Arrange logistics for purchased vehicles through nominated suppliers.
  • Support the remarketing of vehicles via channels beyond auctions.
  • Maximize resale value by adhering to unfair wear and tear (UFW&T) guidelines.
  • Assist in initiatives to increase yield and profitability on purchased vehicles.
  • Provide necessary administrative and reporting support to the Remarketing team.

Performance Success Will Be Measured By

  • Timely and accurate processing of all fleet administration tasks.
  • Achieving internal KPIs related to trade-in volumes and reporting.
  • Effective stock management and reporting accuracy.

What You Need:
Non-negotiables

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a professional administration and/or customer service environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong eye for detail, accuracy, and ability to manage high volumes of work.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work to deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

Preferred skills/expertise

  • At least 1 year of experience in the fleet-management industry (desirable).
  • Strong networking and negotiating skills to secure optimum resale values.
  • Relationship-building skills to engage internal and external stakeholders effectively.
  • A passion for and interest in all types of vehicles.
  • Team-oriented mindset with initiative and creativity in solving problems.
