As an
Advanced System Engineer
at IT By Design, you will play a critical role in supporting and maintaining complex IT infrastructures in a fast-paced Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment. This role requires a deep technical skill set, a proactive mindset, and a passion for delivering world-class service to global clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and manage
    Active Directory Domain Services
    , including OU design, GPO creation, security policies, and user/group provisioning.
  • Manage and maintain
    Office 365 tenants
    , covering Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, licensing, and Azure AD Connect.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting and remediation on
    Windows 10 and Windows Server
    (including AD DS, DNS, DHCP, RDS, File & Print Services).
  • Provide tier-3 support for
    application deployment
    , log analysis, performance tuning, and dependency mapping.
  • Administer and support
    Azure resources
    such as VMs, networking, storage, conditional access, and identity governance.
  • Configure and troubleshoot
    Windows networking
    , including firewalls, VLANs, WAN/LAN, and switch configurations.
  • Oversee
    backup systems
    (Veeam, Datto, or similar), perform restoration testing, and enforce retention policies.
  • Manage
    virtualization platforms
    like VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V, including VM provisioning and clustering.
  • Conduct
    root cause analysis and incident trending
    to drive proactive remediation and infrastructure improvements.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of
    2 years' experience
    in an MSP or relevant consulting environment.
  • Proven experience supporting
    international/global clients
    .
  • Strong
    problem-solving skills
    and technical troubleshooting abilities.
  • Excellent
    written and verbal communication skills
    (mandatory).
  • Willingness to work
    100% onsite
    in BGC, Taguig.
  • Flexibility to work on
    shifting schedules
    including night shifts and weekends.
