Advanced System Administrator

Department: Service Delivery

Reports to: Training Team

Work Model: WFO

Location: BGC, Taguig

Shift Type: Rotational shifts in EST (night shifts)

Position Summary:

Advanced System Administrator is a skilled technician responsible for handling back-end infrastructure support as well as advanced second-level support of service requests in a professional & timely manner. This role includes managing the activities and responsibilities of the service desk team related to all technology, including workstations, servers, printers, networks, and vendor-specific hardware and software.

Advanced System Administrators possess effective communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and experience managing servers and SMB network infrastructures, along with advanced experience in end-user support. Success is achieved when they can confidently interact with users and solve complex infrastructure-related problems.

Education and Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree and minimum 4 years of experience
  2. At least 4-5 years of experience in IT Domain working for US/EME/AUS clients
  3. Experience working with teams from English-speaking countries
  4. Excellent customer service skills

Requirements:

  1. Hands-on experience in user Active Directory administration & management
  2. Hands-on experience with user Office 365 administration & management
  3. Advanced knowledge of Windows 10 diagnosis and troubleshooting
  4. Advanced knowledge of Windows server roles (e.g., AD, FNP, DHCP, DNS, RDS)
  5. Advanced knowledge of application support and troubleshooting
  6. Good understanding of Azure
  7. Knowledge of Windows networking basics and management (e.g., Firewalls, Switches, ISP)
  8. Understanding of backups
  9. Understanding of VMware and Hyper-V
  10. Root Cause Analysis and Incident Analysis/Trending
