About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Assistant to join the dynamic team at Akari Lighting and Technology Corporation in Quezon City, Metro Manila. This full-time role will be responsible for providing comprehensive accounting and administrative support.

What you'll be doing:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
  • Process invoices, purchase orders, and other accounting documentation in a timely manner
  • Assist with the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and other accounting analyses
  • Provide administrative support to the Executive Office, such as filing, data entry, and responding to inquiries
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial information
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations

What we're looking for:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an Accounting Assistant or similar role
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Can work 6 days a week
