Rate: Up to $8 per hour

About Us

EcoBuild Plus () is a U.S.-based company dedicated to delivering high-quality, energy-efficient home improvement and remodeling solutions. We specialize in custom home construction and remodeling, with a growing digital presence that supports our sales, marketing and project management teams. We're looking for a smart WordPress Developer to join our team part-time and help maintain, improve, and expand our company websites. You'll collaborate closely with our marketing and design teams to ensure fast performance, great user experience (UX), strong SEO, and consistent modern design across all pages.

Note: Based on strong performance and good collaboration, the hourly rate can increase and the role can transition to full-time (40 hours per week).

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, update and optimize existing WordPress websites.
  • Design and build new landing pages, service pages, blog posts, forms that support the company's goals.
  • Implement responsive, mobile-friendly designs and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, plugin conflicts, and theme customization errors.
  • Manage and customize WordPress themes or custom-made websites..
  • Ensure optimal site performance (page speed, caching, SEO image optimization)
  • Apply on-page SEO best practices (meta tags, alt text, structured headings).
  • Coordinate with marketing and design teams to align content and branding.
  • Manage site backups, plugin updates, and version control.

Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of professional WordPress development experience.
  • Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery and responsive design.
  • Experience with Elementor, Bricks, Divi or similar page builders.
  • Familiarity with WooCommerce and HubSpot integrations.
  • Knowledge of Figma or similar design tools is an advantage.
  • Understanding of SEO principles and site optimization techniques.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and communicate clearly.
  • Reliable internet connection

Compensation

$8 per hour maximum, 4 hours per day (20 hours per week).
