The Role

We're looking for an experienced WordPress Developer to join our growing team. You'll build and maintain high-performing websites for our clients in the hospitality and beauty industries, working closely with our SEO specialists and creative team to deliver sites that look great and rank even better.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop custom WordPress websites from concept to launch
  • Build and customize WordPress themes and plugins
  • Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across client sites
  • Collaborate with our SEO team to implement on-page optimization
  • Maintain and update existing client websites
  • Integrate third-party tools and APIs (booking systems, POS, Google My Business, etc.)
  • Has experience with SCHEMA, lookerstudio and setting up analytics.

What We're Looking For:

Required:

  • 2+ years of hands-on WordPress development experience
  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
  • Experience with page builders (Elementor, Divi, WPBakery, etc.)
  • Understanding of responsive design and mobile-first development
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and site optimization
  • Experience with website speed optimization
  • Familiarity with hosting environments and domain management
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with WooCommerce
  • Knowledge of restaurant/hospitality industry websites
  • Bilingual (English/French)
  • Familiarity with local SEO and GMB integration
  • Experience with booking/reservation systems
  • Background in agency or multi-client environments
