Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary HRIS partner supporting designated Workday modules, including HCM, Core HR, Benefits, Talent, Advanced Compensation, Time Tracking, Recruitment, and Reporting.
  • Provide expert consultation to HR Business Partners and COEs by building domain knowledge, gathering business requirements, conducting impact analyses, and recommending effective system solutions.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for current and upcoming Workday functionalities and enhancements.
  • Evaluate new Workday releases and identify opportunities to streamline, improve, and optimize existing HR processes.
  • Configure, test, validate, and implement business process changes within Workday in accordance with best practices.
  • Assist with testing and validation of integrations, security configurations, and annual HR events (e.g., compensation cycles, performance reviews).
  • Maintain and govern master data values in Workday, including Job Profiles, Job Families, Job Groups, Roles, Custom Organization Types, Positions, and Locations.
  • Serve as an escalation point for Tier 2 HRIS-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Collaborate closely with the Workday Team Lead, Workday team members, and clients to share knowledge and support continuous improvement.
  • Participate in scheduled and ad hoc training sessions to enhance process knowledge and policy compliance.
