About the role
MPL Center for Integrative and Functional Medicine is seeking an experienced Consultant Doctor in Integrative & Functional Medicine to join our team on a contract basis. Based in Makati City Metro Manila, this role will provide strategic medical advice and hands-on patient care, contributing to the centre's mission of delivering holistic, evidence-based healthcare solutions.
What you'll be doing
- Conduct comprehensive patient consultations and assessments using an integrative and functional medicine approach
- Develop individualised treatment plans focused on restoring balance and promoting optimal health and wellbeing
- Prescribe nutraceuticals, botanical medicines, dietary and lifestyle modifications as appropriate
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated, patient-centred care
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in integrative and functional medicine
- Contribute to the development and refinement of the centre's clinical protocols and educational resources
What we're looking for
- Medical degree and valid medical license to practice in the Philippines
- 5+ years of clinical experience, with a strong background in integrative and functional medicine
- In-depth knowledge of evidence-based integrative modalities such as nutrition, herbal medicine, mind-body therapies, and lifestyle interventions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for holistic, patient-centred care
