About the role

We are seeking an experienced Line cook/Sous Chef/Prep Chef to join our dynamic team at FOODEE GLOBAL CONCEPTS'. As a full-time Line cook/Sous Chef/Prep Chef, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality, delicious meals that delight our customers. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary talents and contribute to the success of our thriving hospitality business.

What you'll be doing

  • Prepare and cook a variety of menu items to ensure consistent, high-quality food preparation
  • Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, recipe development and food costing
  • Maintain a clean and organised work station, adhering to all food safety and sanitation standards
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient meal preparation and service
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior kitchen staff as needed
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and inventory management
  • Contribute to a positive and productive work environment

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Line cook, Sous Chef or Prep Chef in a fast-paced hospitality environment
  • Strong technical cooking skills and knowledge of various cooking methods and food preparation techniques
  • Ability to work efficiently and collaboratively in a team
  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and kitchen best practices
  • Passion for creating delicious, visually appealing dishes
