Job Brief

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to assist with the coordination of waste service requests for local councils. This role focuses on managing and resolving enquiries related to missed bins and bin maintenance, ensuring accurate records, timely follow-ups, and contract compliance. The ideal candidate will be proactive, process-driven, and comfortable working with high volumes of service data.

Responsibilities

Investigate and process missed bin and bin maintenance service requests.

Validate claims against service conditions and escalate complex issues as required.

Coordinate with internal teams or contractors to schedule corrective services.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all incoming service requests.

Assist in generating compliance and performance reports for council contracts.

Support general data entry and administrative tasks to aid operational efficiency.

Requirements

Previous experience in administration, customer service, or a related support role.

Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

Organised and capable of handling multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously.

Clear and confident English communication skills (both written and verbal).

Based in the Philippines, with availability during Australian business hours.

Desirable

Knowledge of waste services, logistics, or council operations.

Experience working with service request systems, work order tools, or shared inboxes.

Familiarity with handling service escalations or contractor coordination.

Software Proficiency

Productivity: Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook

Communication: Email, shared inboxes, Microsoft Teams or Zoom

Service Logging: Internal ticketing or request tracking tools (training provided)
