Qualification:

  • College Graduate - Any business Related Course
  • Knowledgeable in warehouse procedures (Operations & inventory Management)
  • With experience in Logistics/Freight industry
  • Atleast 2 year experience as warehouse supervisor.
  • Hard working , fair and can deal with staff/clients/heads in all aspects
  • Can handle pressure with grace and positive attitude.
  • Computer literate, analytical & technically incline.
  • Good in written, oral communication & reporting.

Job Summary:

  • Responsible to supervise all transactions & staff.
  • Responsible for warehouse operations & truck utilization
  • Responsible for the implementation of QMS with in the respective department & performs other duties and responsibilities as prescribed.

Duties:

  • Optimize effiecientcy of pick-up and delivery using sub-con trucks
  • Supervise handling of cargoes within the warehouse
  • Ensures compliance of internal & external customer needs on transportation & cargo handling requirments.
  • Installs proper frame of mind with regards to dedicated service to his subordinates.
  • Fosters an atmosphere of warmth reception towards internal and external customer
  • Organizes daily, weekly, monthly or quarterly meeting with the staff, whenever its necessary, for updating/reminding of information, discussions of special instructions, preventive & corrective actions for errors committed.
  • Monitors and make it an appoint that counter measure are being done & implemented so as occurrence of the same problem/error/mistakes will be eliminated.
  • Plans & schedule staff to be on duty and other related work as instructed by immediate superior.
  • Ensure timeless of all logistics and transportation requirements
