Job Summary:
Responsible for managing employee and manager relationships to ensure proper administration of leave policies in compliance with federal and state regulations. This role serves as the primary contact for claims inquiries, collaborates with HR and management on return-to-work requirements, and processes leave approvals, rejections, and returns according to plan benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer leave policies and ensure compliance with applicable laws.
- Act as internal contact for claims issues until resolution.
- Coordinate with HR, Labor Relations, and management on return-to-work requirements.
- Communicate leave status and expectations to employees, HR partners, and managers.
- Interface with disability vendors (short-term, long-term, workers' compensation).
- Conduct research and reporting for leave analysis.
- Provide guidance on leave processes to employees, HR, managers, and payroll.
- Partner with LOA Coordinator on leave-related concerns.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee health information and ensure HIPAA compliance.
Qualifications:
- Experience in leave administration within a healthcare account.
- 1 year minimum of experience and Bachelor's degree in any related field.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
