Job Title: Remote Virtual Assistant - Book Project Support (Part-Time)

Job Type: Part-Time | 5-10 Hours/Week

About the Role:

An exceptionally detail-oriented, organized, and proactive Virtual Assistant to support the client in developing their upcoming book.

This role goes beyond basic admin work - it's a hands-on creative and operational position designed for someone who can think critically, communicate clearly, and help shape the writing process. The candidate will be working directly with the author to bring ideas to life through research, writing assistance, editing, and structured project management.

The ideal candidate has strong writing and organizational skills, can manage multiple moving parts, and thrives in an environment that values precision, focus, and results.

Key Responsibilities:

Research & Writing Support
  • Conduct targeted research to support key themes and topics in the book.
  • Assist in co-writing or drafting sections based on provided outlines and notes.
  • Edit, proofread, and refine content to match the author's sharp, direct, and fearless tone.
  • Help organize and refine ideas into structured chapters or frameworks.
Administrative & Project Coordination
  • Schedule and manage interviews with guests, contributors, or sources.
  • Take detailed notes during calls and meetings to capture key insights.
  • Format and organize documents, notes, and research files.
  • Track progress and ensure deadlines are met within the 1-3 month timeline.
Collaboration & Communication
  • Work closely with the author to align on tone, structure, and objectives.
  • Maintain clear communication and provide consistent updates on progress.
  • Coordinate with interviewees or external collaborators as needed.
Qualifications & Ideal Traits:
  • Experience: Prior experience as a Virtual Assistant, Research Assistant, or Editorial Assistant (book, publishing, or business background preferred).
  • Writing Skills: Excellent English writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Organization: Exceptionally detail-oriented, structured, and reliable in managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Tools: Proficient in Google Docs, Microsoft Word, ChatGPT, and project tracking tools.
  • Mindset: Task-oriented, proactive, and takes initiative without constant supervision.
  • Personality: Great listener, analytical thinker, and highly adaptable.
Working Environment:
