About the role

The Warehouse Transition Officer is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of projects related to the implementation of new systems, processes or business within a company. This position requires deep knowledge and understanding of warehouse operations, attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders.

What you'll be doing

  1. Takeover the role of operations head while the transition period is ongoing

  2. Communicate with the following teams for the implementation of each activity:

  3. Solution Design for Details of assets, capital expenses, cost budgets included based on the cost model and scope of works identified during the crafting of solutions.

  4. Process Excellence for execution of standard processes and operational improvements
  5. Finance/Procurement for the timing of delivery with regards to assets and resources that needed to be acquired during the transition period as aligned with the cost budget.
  6. Human Resources for the timing of manpower hiring/recruitment, training and onboarding.

  7. Other Support Group for other matters such as permits and licenses, insurance, etc.

  8. Manage the implementation of newly acquired business by the company and transition from acquisition to business operations stabilization.

  9. Conduct status meetings and communicate project progress to stakeholders.
  10. Provide project management support to ensure client expectations are met.
  11. Collaborate with the project team to ensure deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
  12. Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  13. Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (industrial engineering preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations, project management or implementation management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Knowledge in project management software and tools
  • Ability to travel as needed to client sites.
