Finance Assistant/Associate

Responsibilities:

  • Perform payroll computation and generate payroll reports
  • Reconcile payroll entries against GL Balances to ensure proper charging of expenses
  • Consolidate and resolve payroll issues and disputes
  • Facilitate the preparation and releasing of pay slips
  • Process government mandated contributions and loan amortizations for remittance/payment
  • Prepare final pay computation
  • Engage in year-end processing/ annualization and printing of 2316

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accountancy, Commerce or any degree relevant to the position
  • Knowledge in payroll, account reconciliation, government remittances, and other general accounting functions
  • Excellent problem solving/judgment skills, and high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion
  • Proficient in creating reports and in using MS Office
  • Must be willing to work flexible schedules (including weekends and holidays
  • Consistently and accurately communicate client opportunities to stakeholders
  • Actively participate in weekly/bi-weekly calibration sessions
  • Perform ad hoc tasks to support departmental needs and functions
