Roles and Responsibilities

  • Process quote approvals in SAM - checking and updating quote data to make sure it's correct before converting to an order.
  • Assist the Sales Team with processing quotes, keeping up to date with the company requirements, and making administrative corrections wherever possible (e.g., spelling corrections).
  • Act as the liaison between Sales and Installation departments, ensuring the accurate flow of information.
  • Convert or reschedule: weekly check of the install schedules to flag any unconverted quotes to the sales team to either convert to an order or reschedule.
  • Assist the Installation team with various duties as required.
  • Process WA retailer applications (data entry into various online portals).
  • Process WA rebate applications (data entry).

Key Performance Criteria

  • Timeliness: 48-hour turnaround from the pending approval stage to the approved stage.
  • Accuracy: Minimise errors through accurate assessment of the technical aspects of the system design during the quote approval stage.
  • Efficiency: Ensure quotes are converted immediately after being provided installation dates (at least a month in advance). All quotes in the current month must be converted to order for the install team to process.

  • Management System: Follow Management System procedures applicable to the position.
  • Health and Safety (General): Take reasonable care to ensure your own health and safety at work and to avoid adversely affecting the health and safety of others through any act or omission. Follow all safe work practices, instructions, and rules.

  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Strong administrative background.
  • Experience in using CRM software (desired but not essential).
  • Personable and team-oriented.
  • Diligent with strong attention to detail.
  • Able to demonstrate initiative when necessary.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
