Quoting Specialist I
to join us in
Cebu
Job Summary
The Quoting Specialist is responsible for providing quotes for part cleaning and chemical analysis services to customers. The Quoting Specialist is responsible for managing the quoting business process from customer request to quote submission. The Quoting Specialist interfaces between Customer, Sales, Customer Service and Engineering to gather information to required to accurately set pricing and deliver the quote on time. This requires an understanding of the UCT service offerings, pricing structure and the software tools to provide quotations that result in profitable sales for the company.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Deliver accurate quotes on time to customer
  • Develop positive working relationships with existing customers and internal stakeholders
  • Analyzing technical documents that describe the customer cleaning requirements
  • Review engineering drawings of parts to determine XYZ
  • Designating optimal site for cleaning based on customer cleaning specifications and technical site capabilities
  • Recommend and implement quoting process improvements such as use of software tools

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in science or engineering
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Ability to manage changing priorities, work independently, under compressed timelines
  • Excellent communication, presentation and problem-solving skills
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office: Microsoft Word, Office, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of pricing information both internally and externally

Preferred Qualifications/Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Material Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering
  • Minimum 1 years of work experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Semiconductor industry experience a plus
  • Experience collaborating across regions, business functions

  • Positive attitude
  • Detail oriented, organized, effective time management skills
  • Highly responsible and dependable
  • Ability to manage cross-functional relationships and resolve conflicts effectively

Schedule

  • This role is remote and requires working 8 AM – 5 PM on Central Time Zone in United States
  • May be required to work or support rotating weekend coverage, holidays per Manager scheduling
  • Coordinates PTO with Manager and back up to ensure account coverage

Travel Requirement

  • 1 annual 2 week trip to United States
