Job Summary

The Branch Staff supports the daily operations of the branch by handling policy servicing, client assistance, premium collection, and administrative tasks. The role ensures smooth front-line service and compliance with company standards and insurance regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with inquiries, policy applications, renewals, endorsements, and claims requirements
  • Process and issue official receipts for premium payments; monitor and reconcile branch collections
  • Prepare and submit daily transaction reports, premium remittances, and other required branch reports
  • Encode and update client and policy information in the company's system
  • Coordinate with the head office on underwriting, claims, and accounting matters
  • Maintain organized branch records, files, and correspondence
  • Support sales initiatives by providing quotations, policy schedules, and marketing materials
  • Assist in scheduling inspections or surveys for insured risks, as needed
  • Observe proper internal controls, compliance with Insurance Commission regulations, and company policies
  • Perform other administrative or operational tasks assigned by the Branch Manager

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field (or equivalent work experience)
