About the Role

Labrador Group, a global leader in corporate transparency and communication, is looking for a
Senior Accountant
to join our growing
Shared Service Center (SSC)
in Manila.

This role ensures accurate, complete, and compliant accounting for assigned entities of the Labrador Group — meeting monthly closing deadlines, adhering to Group and local standards, and maintaining the integrity of financial data in
NetSuite
and other tools. You'll also play a key role in coordinating between the SSC in the Philippines and our headquarters in France.

What You'll Do

General Accounting

  • Record and review accounting entries (purchases, sales, banks, intercompany, accruals, etc.)
  • Maintain trial balances and general ledgers
  • Track fixed assets and depreciation
  • Ensure correct analytical coding (class, department, activity)
  • Support monthly and quarterly closings

Reconciliations and Reviews

  • Perform and document bank and intercompany reconciliations
  • Investigate variances and verify balance sheet consistency
  • Maintain intercompany reciprocity records

Audit and Reporting Support

  • Prepare closing files and account justifications
  • Provide support for internal and external audits
  • Contribute to monthly financial reporting

Collaboration and Coordination

  • Work with AP, AR, and Banking teams
  • Coordinate with HQ for validation and technical matters
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives

Role Expansion and Initiatives

  • Take full ownership of accounting scopes
  • Act as key contact for specific cycles (intercompany, fixed assets, reconciliations)
  • Support automation and process enhancements (NetSuite, Yooz, dashboards)
  • Participate in Group-wide projects and mentor new SSC members

What We're Looking For

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field
  • CPA certification preferred

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in general and intercompany accounting (SSC or multinational environment preferred)
  • Strong background in closings, reconciliations, and audit support
  • Familiar with IFRS and PFRS standards
  • Experience working with international teams (European exposure is a plus)

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in
    NetSuite
    and
    Microsoft Excel
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and reporting standards

Soft Skills

  • Analytical, organized, and detail-oriented
  • Strong time management and communication skills
  • Collaborative and eager to grow in an international environment
